I'm puzzled as to where I've been for the past year... I can't recall ever seeing this book before. When we talked about 'the Nigella Xmas book' the other day I think I was thinking of Feast...

I agree the whole thing seems a little like overkill. Delia's got a Xmas book out this year though, so maybe this is the new celeb chef trend.

My bf's mum was given this book for Christmas last year by one of her sisters. Of course, I took a quick read of it and I thought it looked fantastic. I'm not the biggest Christmas person and I've never cooked a Christmas dinner either so if/ when I cook one, I think I'll be calling on Nigella for some help.

What struck me the most was that she offered four alternatives to the turkey dinner as I absolutely hate turkey.
