I got this book from the library, one of probably 8 books, and the last one I looked at but what an absolute joy it is. In fact I am still drooling over the aubergine section and will be doing so until I have cooked every single one! Who would have thought you could write such wonderful and tantalising things about this vegetable? It’s due back on the 5th of January so I am ordering from Amazon. Thank you, Nigel, for such a beautifully written and delightfully presented book.

Sarah- Thanks :) Yes, it's larger than I thought it would be. I also have The 30 Minute Cook (you might have seen my review) and I love it! You'll love Nigel in no time- he's a great cook and has a wonderful way with words.

Welcome home. I just got Tender from the library and I was surprised to see how big it is. Wonderful! And I got The 30 Minute Cook for my birthday! My first Nigel book and I am very much looking forward to getting stuck in.
